In the first half of 2026, we updated the 2024 survey to see what has shifted and in what ways.
2025 Co-Design Labs
Our “co-labs” featured students, staff, and industry (n=92) having rich conversations and co-creating resources any university can use. They featured 3 x 2 hour workshops on the following themes:
- Learning with AI
- Feedback with AI
- AI and Integrity
2024 Focus Groups and Surveys
We asked students from 4 Australian universities how they were using AI and they told us what they thought. This included:
- A survey (n=8000+)
- 20 focus groups (n=79)
Impact:
Our project is shaping policy, strategy, and practice in our own institutions—and sparking evidence-informed conversations across the Australian sector and beyond.
